                                               Nature Impressions
The Nature poetry below is my retreat to a sanctuary outside social tensions and to discipline myself to a few words, often "haiku" with a three-line 5-7-5 syllable format. They are grouped by month and are simple word paintings matched with photography. In the midst of cultural debate they serve as islands of calm and imagination.
